The Arlington Tech course pathway maps to the Advanced Studies Diploma.
For course descriptions, please consult the Program of Studies.

*If a 9th Grade Student enters Arlington Tech without having completed Algebra I in the 8th grade, he or she will commit to enrolling in a double block Integrated Algebra I/Geometry course during their 9th grader year. If a 10th Grade Student enters Arlington Tech without having completed Geometry in the 9th grade, he or she will commit to enrolling in Geometry New Work over the summer before 10th grade. By the beginning of 10th grade, all students need to be at or above AFDA or Algebra II in the math sequence.

**In the 9th grade, all Arlington Tech students enroll in Engineering I and choose between one of the other “Freshman Foundations” CTE courses. For the 2022-2023 SY, the options include AP Computer Science Principles, Digital Photo I, Art I, Entrepreneurship, Aviation I, Space Force JROTC, or Health Sciences. In grades 10-12, Arlington Tech students may choose any of the CTE courses in our Program of Studies.

***Once students complete their Health/PE sequence/graduation requirements, students may opt to replace this block with an elective.

****World Language offerings include Spanish, French, Latin, ASL, Online Arabic, German, and Chinese. Once graduation requirements are met, students may opt to replace this block with an elective.
