Ananya, a junior in the Arlington Tech program at Arlington Career Center, traveled to NYC to speak at the United Nations 8th International Day of Women and Girls in Science Assembly on Friday, February 10, 2023. She and local, national, and international high school, college, and post-graduate level students and academics discussed the importance of exposing girls to STEM opportunities and supporting their passion for STEM programs.

During the assembly, Ananya addresses how to best prepare young women and girls for a future in STEM. She explains the benefits of attending Arlington Tech and how the program fanned her passion for STEM.
