Arlington Tech Program Student Chosen by U.S. Dept of State for Youth Ambassadors Program

Isalem Daza, a student in the Arlington Tech program at Arlington Career Center, was selected as a 2024 U.S. Youth Ambassador (USYA) by the U.S. Department of State. She is one of 106 U.S. citizens chosen to travel to five countries in Latin America for three-to-four-week programs.

This summer, Isalem will travel to Ecuador to represent the United States in various cross-cultural and community engagement activities. Upon her return home, Isalem will apply what she learns and implement projects that will serve the needs of our community. We are excited about Isalem’s adventure and proud that she will represent our school and APS abroad!
