On Thursday, September 21, ACC will join schools around the world in celebrating the International Day of Peace. The UN General Assembly has declared this a day dedicated to strengthening the ideals of peace. Students at ACC will learn the true story of Sadako Sasaki and her quest for peace through the story of Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes.

During their lunches, students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities to support and foster peace at ACC, within their communities, and beyond. A schoolwide commitment to peace helps continue to make ACC a stronger, safer, and more enjoyable space for all.
