During the weekend of April 20-22, 2018, the Arlington Career Center participated in the State SkillsUSA Competitions in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Fifty-six Career Center students earned the right to participate at the state level and competed in various events such as Television Production, Commercial Baking, Medical Terminology, Auto Maintenance, and Collision Repair. The National SkillsUSA Competition which takes place in Louisville, Kentucky, from June 25-29th, 2018, and features competitors from around the nation to compete in a once-in-a-lifetime event that awards students scholarships, prizes, and achievements that are indicative of excellence in their fields.
