ACC Culinary Students Rank First in the Virginia ProStart Competition 

Students in the Arlington Career Center Culinary Arts Program delivered outstanding performances at the Virginia ProStart Competition on February 20. They competed in Culinary, Management, Chicken Fabrication, Napkin Folding, and Cake Decorating, showing strong skills, professionalism, and teamwork.

Congratulations to all participants, with special recognition to Alena Zabler, 1st Place in Chicken Fabrication, and Ximena Puican Vela, 1st Place in Napkin Folding.

The team now prepares for the NAACP ACT-SO Local Culinary Competition at the Arlington Career Center on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. The event is open to the public.
